Sub-sector analysis to utilize bioenergy for electricity and heat generation

This report represents the outcome of the sub-sector analysis on utilizing bioenergy for heat and electric generation study executed by the Local Consultant Firm (SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in conjunction with the International Consultant (Eric Buysman). After work package (WP) 1 – the subsector review and selection study and WP 2 – the consultation workshop, 3 sub-sectors were selected (1) Pig-pork, (2) Paper and pulp and (3) Cassava-starch. In WP3 sub-sector data on sub-sector performance on bio-energy opportunities were collected through a mix of physical visits, telephone interviews and literature review. The outcome of WP1 to 3 are consolidated in this final report.
