Vietnam NDC Sectoral Report – Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry

This report for LULUCF employs a historical approach combining policy analysis, emissions factors available from national REDD+ reference level, and other research to estimate activity data and emissions factors to develop the BAU and select mitigation options and mitigation estimates for LULUCF. The “Gain-Loss” method is used to calculate emissions and removals generated by BAU and mitigation options. The financial analysis of mitigation options is calculated based on analysis of investment costs and profit estimates that are assessed using NPV and MAC.
