Biogas symposium 2022

On 18-19th October, the first international symposium on biogas under the Climate Protection through Sustainable Bioenergy Markets in Viet Nam project (BEM) took place in Hanoi.

More than 100 representatives of EREA, the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Viet Nam, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), as well as the Viet Nam Environment Administration, the Viet Nam Electricity (EVN) and relevant departments from provinces attended the symposium.

The symposium was jointly organised by the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the BEM project under German Development Cooperation Agency GIZ. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The project is implemented by GIZ and the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
