We invite you to this year’s IKI Interface Viet Nam Workshop on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, following a Networking evening with finger food on Monday, 16 September 2024 in Hanoi.
The workshop’s theme is “Economic Instruments in the NDC Update 2025“. We will discuss economic incentives and market mechanisms to foster climate and biodiversity protection. In working groups, we aim to identify synergies and scale up strategies for an ambitious NDC 2025.
In the afternoon, we will have two conference streams where six projects can present their results in 15-minute slots. Please let us know if you want to show your results by emailing us a few sentences about your contribution by 5 September 2024. The presentations will be selected based on the status of implementation of your solution, its innovative potential, and its contribution to gender equality. Preference will be given to economic instruments and projects about closing.
Please complete the attached registration form by 5 September 2024 to confirm your project’s participation. We encourage you to extend this invitation to your project’s implementation (political) partners. Your support in forwarding the invitation to them will be highly appreciated. Due to the large number of IKI projects implementing in Viet Nam, please note the following registration limits, including all consortium and implementation partners:
- Bilateral projects: Maximum of 5 participants
- Regional/global projects: Maximum of 3 participants
A short survey on IKI Viet Nam Gender Community of Practice (CoP) has been included in the registration form. This survey aims to facilitate the gender session in the workshop and support the establishment of an IKI Viet Nam Gender Community of Practice (CoP).
