The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has just made a Plan to implement Decree 47 of the Government on the management, connection and sharing of digital data of state agencies. Along with the completion of the Data Portal and the Open Portal of Natural Resources and Environment, MONRE strives to develop, publish and promote digital data sharing services by 2022.
In July, MONRE set up a team in charge of connecting and sharing data on the natural resources and environment sector. By the end of the year, MONRE will compile a list of shared databases of ministries and sectors of natural resources and environment. In 2021, regulations and guidelines on data sharing shall be developed. Along with that, the set-up and completion of the national database on natural resources and environment will be done by units under MONRE up to 2024.
