Report summary: Evaluation of Vietnam’s accessibility to international climate funds

This report will put emphasis on the accessibility to international climate funds of 3 target groups, including central government agencies, local government agencies, and enterprises. The accessibility of these groups will be evaluated by an expert group through reviewing legal documents and surveying line ministries, provinces, and enterprises in mobilising grants from international climate funds; the aim of which is to implement activities and projects in the field of green growth and climate change response. From this evaluation, the expert group will support the Ministry of Planning and investment to evaluate Viet Nam’s accessibility to international climate funds and provide recommendations to enhance the financial mobilisation capacity for green growth and climate change response.
